Event pulls together organizations to benefit awareness Washington, DC- EM Enterprises and Antonio Brown & Associates in conjunction with the HIV/AIDS Organization Planned Parenthood & The National Black Justice Coalition unleashes its 1st Annual Official Summer Takeover event to raise awareness, give education and counseling for HIV/AIDS on July 25th -27th 2008. The event, which will combine high fashion and entertainment, is also seeking to raise awareness, educate and offer free testing for HIV/AIDS. Shaun Wright-Verdun, Public Relations Director for the event said, "It is important to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS because the statistics are alarming and it was especially important for us to get Planned Parenthood involved because the statistics for individuals under 25 were amazing." Expect to enjoy a weekend of Art, Music, Fashion and discussion on this very unique disease and it's affect on the community. For its 1st annual event, The Official Summer Takeover will showcase a fashion show by the world renowned fashion designer, Kenny Flannagan of KAS Collections. The fashion show will be hosted by celebrity guest BET'S Tocarra. Professionally done. I'm sure Toccara's proud to have her name attached to this event. A press release/blast email with 700 different fonts, amateurish formatting and faux-pretentious language.
My post postdates this event. I've done this for two reasons, one, I've spared you the stress of arranging your schedule, further, I've spared myself the legal liability of compromising this exquisite event. At least the flyer has a cute female model, the dude looks like he hasn't touched a woman since Jesus.
I'm sure Chocolate City's AIDS awareness is now at an all time high.
